The restaurant over looks the beach which is very private.

The daquiris are amazing here definitely one to order.

The atmosphere is a beachy casual feel with some of the best fish and seafood I’ve had in Jamaica. Go in Friday’s at sunset and stay for the big bonfire they have on the beach once it gets dark. Sonya will take all the group pictures you could ever post in Facebook! Great music, clean bathroom, reasonable prices 🙂

Needless to say we had to take boxes with not even an apology or a discount.. Never again. As for the food The escovitch fish was great but the curry shrimp was so salty we couldn't eat it . Try Seasise Dutchie just down the street on Priory Beach MUCH BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE..

Definitely waited over an hour for our food (I went with a group of eight persons) but we did receive our drinks on time which was strong and tasty so I appreciated that, just not the wait time for our food.

  It was my 3rd time in Sharkies, this time I went because my friends wanted to live the experience because they heard many good comments, and this time as always... read more the same bad experience. Be prepare to wait between 45 minutes to 1 hour or more for super basic meals. It a fact that the restaurant is always overcrowded, because is so popular. But honestly the location is good very near to ocean, the flavors are so regular, the menu is average, the service (hostess) is good, and the service (waitress) slow, disorganized but kind.
Based in my former experience this time I try to order a super basic meal (shrimp wrap) and my friend (shrimp tacos) , first of all the restaurant needs to change the description because both meals the wrap and the taco look more than vegetarian food than sea food, barely you can taste the flavor of the shrimp. Then More than 1 hour of waiting for a simple wrap and taco (for your information are almost the same, just change the presentation). I don't know if they went to buy the tortilla to Ocho Rios that's why they delays so much .
Then my friend ask a fish, and guess what after more than hour to waiting, the server forgot the fork and knife, we wait another 5 minutes and decided to go and get it by myself.
But no everything was bad at least the Spite and the Heineken were ok.
